I'm fascinated by flowers, and photographing flowers, macro photography, is the kind of photography I like the most. Not very very close macro photography but like the photos above.
Because there are no flowers in the garden :-) I bought some roses to photograph.
Always a struggle to find a nice background.
Also a chalenge to find the right aperture, to get a nice balance between the flower and the blurred background.
The snow, that made "everything" beautiful white, is gone. Now the dark January days are back.
But this dark, rainy weather can be great to make photos. I always like the dark brown branches of the trees in winter.

This is a tribute to my dear parents.
My father died on the 3rd of November, my mother, she had dementia and couldn't live without my father, died two days later.
It is winter, Helleborus time. Wonderful winter flowering plants.
This is a Helleborus purpurascens, I made it last year, it is not flowering yet.
